James Ensor gained prominence in the late 19th-century Belgian avant-garde scene, and his works set the stage for the development of Expressionism in the early 20th century. This exhibition features 90 of his works, including paintings, drawings and prints. Ensor’s fascination with carnival performances, masks and satire are all on display here.
